RTS Corporation\u00a0has recommended introduction of 150\u00a0GW (cumulative) of PV systems by\u00a02030 for the development of Japan\u2019s\u00a0PV industry.<\/p>\n

In the Fifth Strategic Energy Plan\u00a0approved by the cabinet in July 2018,\u00a0it is specified that Japan will \u201caim to\u00a0make renewable energy including PV\u00a0a mainstream power source\u201d and\u00a0main policies for promoting PV\u00a0towards 2030 and the future direction\u00a0were presented.\u00a0In this article, domestic and overseas\u00a0environments surrounding PV power\u00a0generation will be analyzed and ideas\u00a0and action plans to realize\u00a0introduction of 150 GW as described\u00a0above, assuming the ideal future, will\u00a0be proposed.<\/p>\n
