setting benchmarks of quantitative targets for conversion to non-fossil fuel energy in five major industries, consumers&#8217; efforts to expand non-fossil fuel power sources will be more widely evaluated (private power generation, procurement of renewable energy through PPAs).\u3000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\"><\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u00a0 \u00a0Major revisions\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<span <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>[Revision of the definition of energy]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The revision of the framework to require rationalization of all energy use, including non-fossil fuel energy, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: #eb8abc;padding: 15px;border: 2 px solid #ffcc99;border-radius: 10px\">(2) Conversion to non-fossil fuel energy<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>[New stipulation]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Submission of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">periodic reports on medium to long-term plans for conversion to non-fossil fuel energy and status of non-fossil fuel energy use, etc.<\/span> will be required for businesses with annual energy consumption of 1,500 kl or more (specified business operators).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Benchmarks of quantitative targets<\/span> are set for<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> conversion to non-fossil fuel energy in five major industries<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" generation, should be set, planned and reported.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Efforts by consumers to expand non-fossil fuel energy sources will be widely evaluated<\/span> (private power generation, procurement of renewable energy through PPAs).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u2192 Evaluated by the actual amount of non-fossil fuel energy x 1.2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background-color: #eb8abc;padding: 15px;border: 2 px solid #ffcc99;border-radius: 10px\">(3) Optimization of electricity demand<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<strong> [Review of electricity demand leveling provisions]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background: #ffffea;padding: 10px;border: 2px solid #99cc00;border-radius: 10px\">Evaluation of demand response (DR) performance<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Incentives will be considered hereafter<\/span>, such as announcement of excellent operators or preferential treatment in subsidies based on the reports on the number of DR implementations, etc.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"background: #ffffea;padding: 10px;border: 2px solid #99cc00;border-radius: 10px\">Evaluation in electricity demand optimization evaluation intensity<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">By applying the renewable energy coefficient,<\/span> the MJ\/kWh coefficient will be set lower during output curtailment of renewable energy <span style=\"color: #000000\">and<\/span> <span style=\"color: #3366ff\">the coefficient will be set higher when supply and demand are
