  • The Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association (JPEA) released the PV module shipment statistics for the quarter from April to June 2024<\/li>\n
  • Total module shipment was 1,161MW, 18% decrease year-on-year (y\/y), with the domestic shipments of 1,151MW, 17% decease y\/y<\/li>\n
  • By application, shipment for commercial applications increased by 14% y\/y to 452MW with the steady growth through PPA models, while shipment for residential applicatons decreased by 11% y\/y to 296MW and shipment for utility-scale applicatons siginificantly decreased by 39% y\/y to 403MW<\/li>\n
  • The shipments for the first half from January to June, 2024 decreased by 2% y\/y to 2,532MW , with the shipment by application were: residential applications 605MW with 6% y\/y decrease, commercial applications, 1,109MW with 32% y\/y increase, and utility-scale applications 907MW with 22% y\/y decrease<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
