The Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association (JPEA) released the PV module shipment statistics in the quarter from April to June 2023. From this quarter, JinkoSolar Japan and one annonymous\u00a0company are included in the respondents of the survey.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Total module shipments increased by 22% year on year (YOY) to 1,410 MW, and domestic shipments also increased by 20% YOY to 1,384 MW.<\/p>\n

By application, the shipments for commercial use increased by 31% to 397 MW, with PPA models progressing, while those for residential use increased by 23% to 331 MW and utility-scale applications increased by 12% to 656 MW. Domestic shipments in the first half of 2023 (January to June 2023) increased by 13% YOY to 2,587 MW, of which shipments for residential use increased 19% YOY to 647 MW, and those for commercial use increased by 35% YOY to 772 MW, and utility-scale applications decreased 1.6% YOY to 1,167 MW.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
